Tips for Cooking with Saffron

  • You can bloom saffron in warm liquid before adding to dishes to release maximum colour and flavour.
  • You can also crush saffron threads into a fine powder, then add 1 or 2 ice cubes until fully dispersed.
  • Use 15 to 20 threads to achieve your desired colour, flavour, and aroma.
  • Add saffron toward the end of cooking for delicate flavours, especially in sweets or light broths. This will ensure to preserve the delicate flavour and fragrance
